Running an urban bike race through UNESCO world heritage sites

Traditionally Malta is known for its historic architecture, gaming and watersports. The local tourism team wanted to raise awareness and appeal to mountain bikers.

We developed “Urbenduro”, Europe’s first multistage urban enduro mountain bike race through the historic medieval streets and UNESCO world heritage sites of Valletta. 

Local crowds watched over 100 of the world’s leading riders, including the team from GMBN (the world’s largest MTB YouTube channel), Tomas Slavik, Sam Pilgrim (one of the world’s most watched mountain bikers).
